COMMERCIAL Project (Group)
Formulate a persuasive production

The class will be divided into groups of three

Students will be given a product or service to develop 30-second commercial spot.

Start out by BRAINSTORMING ideas.  You must come up with at least 15 ideas.


Developing a storyboard and a script. Feel free to bring in any props you may have at home to enhance your production.
DON’T START SHOOTING UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR  STORYBOARD APPROVED
After you have the storyboard approved, get your footage.
After you have all your shots, edit them into a 30 to 60-second commercial.
Use a variety of shots to make it exciting
Add transitions, effects and titles as you see fit to make the commercial engaging and effective.
DON’T forget the basics! (Composition, Lighting, etc)
Last but not least:
- Have Fun
- Be Creative
- Be Responsible!


The project will be graded on 3 major categories / project stages

1) Planning and Creativity (BRAINSTORMING and STORYBOARDS) (20%)
2) Time on Task (30%)
3) Final Product (50%)
