CAREER UNIT - SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT (like a "TEST")

Create a 12 slide presentation using GOOGLE SLIDES.

SLIDE 1: Your Name, "Career Research and Reflection" and a Nice Picture Related to Careers

SLIDE 2: What was your Holland Code (SDS Code)?   What does this say about your personality and what type of career would best suit you?

SLIDE 3: What are at least 5 careers that matched up with your HOLLAND CODE? 

SLIDE 4: What is a career cluster?  What Career Cluster did the other survey(s) say you would fit well into?

SLIDE 5: PICK a CAREER.  List training required for that career. College? Trade School? Other?  (you might Google "Occupational Outlook Handbook" and look up the career there)

SLIDE 6:  ...and the salary for someone starting out in that career, (you might Google "Occupational Outlook Handbook" and look up the career there)

SLIDE 7 ...and the working conditions

SLIDE 8 What does 'opportunity cost' have to do with choosing a career?

SLIDE 9 What does 'human capital' have to do with your career?

SLIDE 10 When it comes to your career, where do hope to be in 10 years?  What can you do now to make that more likely to happen?

SLIDE 11 List at least 3 Specific NEXT Steps will you take with regards to you Career (for example., College, Trades, Military?)
