COMPLETE INDIVIDUAL INTEREST SLIDE PRESENTATION
(100 Points)

1) Develop a 8 – 12 slide presentation about something you are interested in.

2) You will present it to the class in 4 - 6 minutes.

3) Use animation, interactivity, picture editing, effects, transitions and anything else that you learn along the way to enhance your presentation.

4) Use a customized background (slide master) for your presentation.

5) Choose an appropriate topic and use real research from the Internet, not: “Why Beyonce is the Best” (This is more of an opinion than something you can research and create a lot of cool slides about)

6) Pull out all the stops when it comes to adding interactivity, animations and transitions. Make them enhance your presentation.

7) This is your chance to get up in front of your classmates and demonstrate what your intelligence, speaking ability and ability to entertain!

8) You will be presenting these to your classmates, so make them cool!

9) DO NOT JUST COPY AND PASTE FROM Wikipedia. Use your knowledge along with multiple research resources.

EXAMPLES OF POSSIBLE TOPICS. Topics should be something that interests you (class-appropriate, of course). Choose a topic carefully, as you will be exploring it in depth.  THESE are JUST EXAMPLES - DO NOT USE THESE ONES.

GOOD TOPICS
A brief history of UFC
East coast rap vs. West coast rap: a comparison
Gothic Writers and Fiction
Great Skateboarding Pioneers

BAD TOPICS

Music (too broad)
NBA Players, esp. LeBron / Kobe / etc. (too played out)
Football (too broad)
I can’t think of anything
A list of TOP 10 Songs (Should have some “meat” to it)

TIMELINE:

We will be taking a few days per week to do these.

We will be scheduling the presentations soon!  Stay tuned for schedule.

Have fun!

Presentation Skills Speaking was loud and clear, good grammar, good eye contact.  good enthusiasm. Speaking was too soft, or not professional.  Not really very engaging as a speaker.
